Understanding the Challenge

Problem Statement

Inconvenience for users to use traditional / classic bet site for sports betting, hard to read and overwhelming data. New users have no idea how the interface works.

Lack of useful feature for users to connect, not beginner friendly.

How can the platform provide more value to users compared to existing platforms on the market?

Opportunity

How can we design the platform to make every process easy to understand, and at the same time, attractive to new or beginner users?

Project goal

To design an easy to use, straightforward and easy to understand platform for age group 18-39 users.

Platform Design

The Social iGaming Platform

It is a social gaming platform that provides users with a hybrid experience between iGaming and social media.

Think of it as a free OnlyFans platform tailor made for the sportsbook and iGaming industry, where tipsters (creators) inspire audience (users) to engage in a multiplayer wagering experience like Dabble.

intro
Designed to make sports betting for everyone

Betting made easy with the copy bet function with just in 2 steps, it emulates the professional tipsters without having to learn complex traditional methods.

Since sports betting is supposed to be fun and engaging, we will also introduce auto-copy bet functionality like eToro and Naga in the financial markets so that users can automatically win like their favorite tipsters.

Copy Bet
Connect the users to form a community

Traditionally, users haven't really been able to connect with one another. We designed the community features like twitter where users can tease and chat about the wins and losses in a post and comment features.

Other than that, the user also able to customize their profile page and showoff their betting results there.

Redesign and improvising UI/UX design from competitors

Instead of getting frustrated while using the interface like “A.Bookie”, we redesigned and improvised the UI/UX into our platform.

Together with the UI designers, we designed an easily understandable and easily readable analytics from the tournament results.

We then designed an easy to play ranking tournament for every user regardless of experienced or beginner in betting, this tournament design is to let every user get a chance to be famous with their profile which in turn helps them attract more followers and copy bets.

Upgraded
Live now
PC web version

PC version is live now and It is a separate version from mobile platform. Therefore, the challenging part when designing it is to find alternative solutions for some platform specific features that may not display the same way in PC web version. For instance, overlay UI functions, navigators and navigations.

New mouse interactions were also designed to ensure that the web version is intuitive and easy to navigate.

Pain points

Creating Assets

Email Design

Email designed for different purposes

Transactional and system email is designed for communicating essential information and updating the user about their account & transactions;

Promotional email emphasizing “call to action” button to drive immediate action from the user regarding specific sale, special offer, product & services;

Newsletter email only shows important info trends or news;

Retention emails designed to encourage repeat business.

Pain points

Official Website Design

The website and design principles

It is an official website design and it serves a purpose to provide information about the platform.

I designed the website focused on a clean layout, harmonizing a strong color scheme to symbolize the platform. The elements used only relevant images so it will be more compelling and relevant to potential customers. The interaction design including button's feedback and subtle animations to guide the users with the flow. The design is web-mobile responsive.

The website design is completed together with another graphic designer while collaborating with marketing colleagues for content strategy.
